Kindergarten Summer Program Week 3 - Young Palaeontologists PDF Print E-mail

What a way to end our summer themed programs.  Young Palaeontologists was great fun and the range of knowledge the children already had about dinosaurs varied greatly, many children contributed their knowledge to our group discussions.  One of which was the continued debut of how the dinosaurs died.  Many of the children were in favour of the volcano theory while others were set on asteroids hitting the earth and climate changes.   We also looked at different types of Dinosaurs; what they looked like, how big they were and what or who they ate!!

Once we had decided what our favourite Dinosaur was we set out to make replica fossils and clay models.  We were very careful with both and had something fun to take home and share with Mum and Dad afterward.  To see photos of all the different dinosaur models and fossils plus other things we got up to please click here SPW3.
